The brief
Insurance is complicated and most of it looks the same — stock imagery, generic icons, safe blue gradients. CLARK needed a way to make complex topics feel approachable and distinct, so I built a custom illustration library from scratch.
The illustrations are flat, vectorized, and designed to explain insurance concepts visually — things people don’t naturally want to read about. The system had to be consistent enough to feel like one library but flexible enough to cover a wide range of topics. Every illustration was built to work at multiple sizes and across different contexts, from app screens to marketing materials.
The result is a proprietary visual language that gives CLARK a recognisable look beyond the logo — something ownable in a category where most competitors default to the same visual shorthand.
